About Us - Our Pastor

Pastor Eddie Polite, formerly the Pastor of the Northside Seventh-day Adventist Church in St. Louis, Missouri, was installed as the new Pastor for the City Temple Church on October 4, 2008.

Pastor Polite started his ministry in the Southwest Region Conference in 1983. He comes from a military family, and has traveled the world. Feeling the call to ministry at the age of seven, Pastor Polite was baptized and soon after, established his own community outreach organization targeting inner-city youth and early teens, earning him media attention. Pursuant to his childhood conviction, he attended / graduated from Oakwood College and Andrews University. He also attended the U.S. Army Chaplain Center and served six years as a military chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserves. Pastor Polite has served the ministry with distinction.

Pastor Polite is married to the former Donna Walker of Nashville, TN. Pastor and Mrs. Polite have a son and three daughters.
